I become a volunteer educator in schools for Project Rescue Ocean

Mission description

We seek volunteer educators to raise awareness about marine and ocean protection with audiences ages 5-18. Since 80% of marine debris originates on land, extending awareness is crucial. Interventions last 1-2 hours, aiming to awaken young people to the problem's scale and individual agency. Student dialogue is a priority. Sessions have three parts: present the association and its activities, introduce pollution and waste concepts, reflect on debris sources and pollution consequences (animal impact, ecological importance).
