Mission description

A Linux and open-source software club for adults aims to democratize the use of open-source operating systems and free tools, promoting digital independence and a responsible alternative to proprietary software. It introduces participants to secure, ethical, and economical practices. The mission promotes free software (GNU/Linux, LibreOffice, GIMP, etc.) to reduce dependence on commercial monopolies, improve data privacy, and minimize the environmental footprint of digital technology. It develops practical skills in installation, configuration, and daily use while raising awareness about open-source philosophy (sharing, modification, collaboration). The club is for adults.
