Mission description

Under the authority of the Regional Development Manager, you are the Departmental Manager of the Marianne Movement, leading a popular education movement present throughout France, and you coordinate and mobilize local teams. You will be supported by a movement recruiter throughout your onboarding. Volunteer responsibilities: Team coordination, volunteer mobilization, management of scheduled interventions with departmental institutions, representation of the Marianne Movement, and reporting to the Regional Development Manager. Desired profile: Motivated, committed person with a sense of responsibility. Experience in popular education is a plus.

Le Mouvement Marianne (ex-L'école Marianne) est né d'un constat simple et préoccupant : dans une société traversée par la défiance, la désinformation et les tensions, de plus en plus de citoyens peinent à comprendre le fonctionnement de la République, ses institutions, ses règles et ses valeurs. Trop souvent, la citoyenneté apparaît abstraite, éloignée du quotidien, voire réservée à quelques spécialistes. Pourtant, une démocratie vivante suppose des citoyens informés, capables de débattre, de s'exprimer, de comprendre leurs droits et leurs responsabilités. Être un mouvement d'éducation populaire, c'est affirmer une conviction forte : dans une société démocratique, chacun peut apprendre de chacun. La diversité des vécus, des regards et des expériences constitue une richesse essentielle pour construire des repères communs.
