Mission description

Friendly Educational Support (E.S.A) offers students, working professionals, and retirees the opportunity to voluntarily mentor children whose parents cannot help with schoolwork. This includes personalized support (confidence-building, study methods, guidance), broadening the child's perspective on the world, and helping parents support their child's education. We're looking for volunteer mentors to support children and young people toward success and independence, committing one hour per week during the school year. You will help the child with their schoolwork: rebuilding confidence, reviewing basics, and developing effective learning strategies.
