I co-facilitate a sewing/upcycling workshop
Secours Catholique - Comité du TarnMission description
The sewing/upcycling workshop aims to give value to secondhand textiles recovered from the solidarity shop while enabling isolated or excluded individuals to create items (bags, pouches, cushions, tote bags, etc.) and learn to use a sewing machine (installing zippers, embroidery, etc.). These workshops are primarily times for cohesion, sharing, and social connection with strong ecological impact. We're looking for a co-facilitator with knowledge of patterns and machine sewing techniques to work alongside Yolande, our volunteer seamstress. The workshop runs every Tuesday from 2 PM to 5 PM.
