I support young mothers after their baby arrives

Mission description

Offer young mothers presence and emotional support during the difficult postpartum period. Volunteers needed throughout the Cher department. The mission involves home visits to new mothers in your service area. You participate in support visits based on your availability—there's never any obligation to participate. Our volunteers report great satisfaction, meaningful social connections, diverse friendships, and shared experiences. Support can include conversation over tea or coffee, laundry help, watching the baby during a shower, or accompanying an outing to the park.
