Within a shelter for asylum seekers, run sewing workshops in pairs to help participants repair and modify their clothing. The main goal is for participants to become independent in using a sewing machine. No need to be a professional seamstress—we're looking for someone available Thursday mornings, twice monthly, with enthusiasm for sharing knowledge with an intercultural audience. Our shelter has all necessary materials (tools, equipment, electric sewing machines, fabrics).
