I host a teenager under juvenile justice supervision
PJJ - Etablissement de placement éducatif Haute PicardieMission description
Being a foster family for a young person under juvenile justice doesn't mean replacing their family. The foster family's role is to provide a safe and structured living environment for the minor so they can build their future in the best conditions possible. The foster family ensures housing, food, and accompanies the young person in their daily activities. They provide daily life landmarks and a lived experience of community living. No diplomas required—what matters is relational qualities, a sense of responsibility, listening skills, and patience. Young people need stable and available people capable of understanding their sometimes complex situations.
