I join the recycling team at the haberdashery recycling center (Monday afternoons)

Mission description

This role requires availability on Monday afternoons. You'll be trained throughout your time at the recycling center. You'll sort products by category and type (sewing machines, patterns, etc.), then prepare donations for shop resale through cutting, winding, and storage. Your tasks include: weighing bags/boxes, sorting by major and minor categories (fabrics, haberdashery, books, tools, buttons, needles, etc.), conditioning for retail. The center collects haberdashery items: thread, yarn, and other sewing supplies.
