Mission description

Created in 1999 by writer Alexandre Jardin, Reading and Sharing Stories is a national program promoting reading and intergenerational solidarity. Share the joy of reading and books! Senior volunteers intervene in structures welcoming children ages 0-12 in small groups during school, after-school, or leisure time. Trained volunteers lead weekly reading sessions in schools, daycare centers, libraries, and leisure centers. Join us to foster intergenerational connection and transmit the pleasure of reading.
