I participate in staffing the material library

Mission description

During Wednesday afternoons and Saturday mornings, the Green Resource Center's material library resells collected items and materials on a pay-what-you-wish basis. Staffing sessions are busy times at the Resource Center where you'll meet all sorts of people, from experienced DIY enthusiasts to beginners seeking advice. With 700 members of all ages from town and country, discussions about fair pricing and negotiations create interesting exchanges about the value of objects that might otherwise end up in landfills or be repurposed.
