I help evacuate animals during natural disasters in Gard (dept. 30) (fires, floods, storms, etc.)
Patrouille Prévention Risques Animaliers et Naturels (PPRAN)Mission description
You will transport animals to appropriate facilities during fires, floods or storms using suitable transport vehicles. You will: • Direct animals into evacuation trucks or vehicles • Drive or assist with transport • Unload animals • Disinfect and rearm the vehicle • Communicate via radio or phone with the PPRAN command center • Complete mission reports and livestock transport documentation. Become an actor in France's first animal emergency services and preserve the lives of those without a voice. Prior knowledge of animals is a plus. Agriculture and livestock professionals are welcome.
