I help organize departures and arrivals of young people in international exchanges

Mission description

American Field Service (AFS) is a non-profit organization present in about 60 countries that promotes intercultural and linguistic exchanges. Volunteers participate in organizing stays for foreign young people wishing to pursue a mobility program in France, and conversely, prepare young people to experience life abroad. These stays last between 3 and 11 months and are integrated into a school curriculum. Young people are hosted by volunteer host families. Founded in 1914, the AFS network operates in 60 countries, developing intercultural exchanges and learning through youth mobility programs.
