At the intersection of culture, education, and social integration, Lire pour en Sortir has developed actions since 2014 promoting reintegration of incarcerated people through reading, including personalized reading support and author meetings. Children visiting incarcerated relatives wait in the family reception area, which can be long and stressful. We seek volunteers to lead read-aloud sessions and encourage children to discover and enjoy reading.
