Offer your time (at least 2 hours weekly) as a volunteer visitor to listen to hospitalized patients or nursing home residents with humanity and kindness. First visits are in pairs. You may also participate in occasional activities. You'll quickly discover that the human connections you create are deeply rewarding for both you and those you visit.
