The Society for the Protection of Animals has worked for 180 years protecting animals through a network of shelters, clinics, investigators, youth clubs, and anti-trafficking efforts. The SPA seeks volunteers to introduce young people to animal respect and protection. Through its Youth Clubs for ages 11-17, young people participate in various shelter activities: walking dogs, animal care (exercise, grooming, socialization), and educational activities.
