SOS Amitié de Toulon et du VarMission description
Person-centered phone listening that respects anonymity. We train volunteers for free after assessing their motivations. Training is both theoretical and practical. Listeners commit to a set number of monthly hours, which varies depending on whether they're currently active. They attend monthly supervision sessions led by a psychologist in groups of 10 maximum. There are also several annual continuing education sessions and constant peer support available. Join a wonderful team of around 30 volunteers with values of humanity and friendliness. Our mission is not to advise or resolve suffering callers' situations.
