I mentor a child or young person with their schooling

Mission description

Friendly Educational Support (ESA) invites students, working professionals, and retirees to volunteer weekly mentoring students whose parents cannot help them with their studies. The role includes personalized support for the child (confidence-building, study methods, academic guidance), introducing them to the world around them, and helping parents become more involved in their child's education. As a volunteer mentor at ESA, you both help and learn from the young person! We seek volunteers to support children and young people towards success and independence, dedicating one hour per week during the school year.
