I build social connection with an isolated older person
Petits Frères des Pauvres d'OccitanieMission description
Volunteers visit older isolated people over 50, particularly the most disadvantaged, at their homes or in care facilities such as nursing homes or senior residences, once per week. They provide relational support through individual visits. Volunteering is ongoing and includes monthly team meetings and ongoing training. Through simple conversations over tea or coffee, or playing games, you create meaningful connection with an older person experiencing loneliness and isolation.
