I offer respite time to family caregivers

Mission description

Eight million people regularly help a family member due to health or disability issues. One million six hundred thousand people (MACIF 2008 survey) dedicate more than 50 hours per week to this. These caregivers' devotion comes at the expense of their personal lives, and their social and professional lives are threatened and lost. Everything changes. Stress, fatigue, and then exhaustion appear because the sporadic support of professional workers throughout the day is insufficient. These people need to breathe, have time for themselves, be listened to, and feel valued in their work. They need perspective. In the name of solidarity.
