I participate in maintaining green spaces at an intergenerational residence

Mission description

For 35 years, Habitat et Humanisme has fought exclusion and isolation by promoting housing and integration for people in difficulty. Les Jardins du Carmel in Douai is an intergenerational residence with 37 apartments managed by 2 staff and ten volunteers. Since opening, residents maintain the 4000m² grounds including vegetable gardens and a boules court. They manage mowing and landscaping with support from staff and volunteers.
