I join ASSDCA's departmental emergency reserve

Mission description

We are recruiting volunteers for our emergency reserve to set up emergency shelters during disasters. You'll join an existing team and be trained in minimum competencies (PSC1 first aid) and emergency shelter management, plus participate in drills. Tasks include welcoming displaced persons, coordinating population alerts or evacuations, protecting household items in flood zones, monitoring vulnerable people during heat waves or cold spells, and assisting with cleanup.
