I participate in and lead friendly gatherings (Rest Stops) with sick people

Mission description

Lead Rest Stops (3-hour afternoon sessions) with other volunteers. This happens in 4 stages: arrival/activity/snack/departure. During these gatherings, conviviality is key! We forget about illness, we sing, we have fun, we laugh. Give it a try, you'll see :) As a volunteer, you welcome sick people (with Alzheimer's) and guide them through various proposed activities. A professional facilitator (music therapist, art therapist, etc.) is present to animate part of the workshop. You then oversee a brief snack time before families pick up their loved ones.
