Mission description

The Mailbox of Words is a specific prevention initiative supporting children's right to expression under the International Convention on Children's Rights. It works with many children, especially those in difficulty, without isolating them. It also serves as a maltreatment prevention tool. The Mailbox operates in partnership with schools, intervening 8 times yearly. Adult volunteers, called 'mailmen,' present themselves to children and adolescents and invite them to write letters addressed to Tom or Léa.
