As a foster family, you help abandoned or stray cats find the warmth of a home instead of the street or pound. Provide temporary care (emergency rescue, convalescence) or long-term fostering until adoption. Some cats may be frightened, traumatized, or ill. Foster families restore trust in humans, provide medical care, and socialize kittens. This requires patience, love, gentleness, and dedicated time.
