I develop HopHopFood's anti-waste solidarity branch in my area
HopHopFoodMission description
HopHopFood is a civic initiative giving local actors, individuals, and businesses the tools to combat food waste and precarity, especially for disadvantaged populations (students, migrants, single women, etc.). With civic service volunteers and 250 volunteers, HopHopFood manages a service allowing people in precarity to recover unsold food from local shops at a free or pay-what-you-can rate through our digital platform. Goal: On the ground, recruit and convince new food retailers to donate their unsold inventory to people in precarity.
