I lead awareness workshops about disability in schools

Mission description

Run workshops to help students understand disability, the difficulties people with disabilities face, and how to help them. The goal is to change perspectives on disability from a young age (preschool through secondary school). All types of disability are covered through debates and practical exercises. The educational program designed by LADAPT uses the Handi'Mallette toolkit created by the association. This mission requires availability during school hours. Animators work in teams of two or three, with frequency depending on school requests. This mission may involve travel across the region.
