AccordsMission description
Because listening is already a form of action, ACCORDS volunteers provide presence and support by visiting people with serious or terminal illnesses in healthcare facilities. Each volunteer gains from the encounters with patients and from the support received from all association volunteers. After a 6-month training program (one Saturday per month), during which future volunteers work with experienced accompaniers, our volunteers dedicate one afternoon per week to providing listening and support to the people they visit.
