I support young people from working-class neighborhoods in understanding and engaging with climate issues near Le Havre!
MakesenseMission description
Have you also realized that climate justice and social justice are twin sisters? Yes, one can't exist without the other. They go hand in hand. And once you know that? What can we do? How can we enable young people from working-class backgrounds to take their full place in the ecological movement? Though they're at the center of ecological challenges, young people from popular backgrounds are still too often excluded from debate and action spaces for the planet. Why? Daily social urgencies take priority. Eco-friendly suggestions feel unjust to them. Lack of action frameworks adapted to their realities. Yet climate justice and social justice are inseparable. That's why this program exists.
