La Société Protectrice des Animaux (la SPA)Mission description
The Society for the Protection of Animals has worked for 175 years protecting animals through a network of shelters, clinics, and Youth Clubs. We seek volunteers interested in raising young people's awareness of animal respect and protection. Through Youth Clubs, the SPA educates 11-17 year-olds about animal welfare. Under supervisor oversight, young people participate in missions supporting the shelter: walking dogs, caring for animals through physical activity, grooming, and socialization. Beyond essential care, educational actions teach compassion and responsibility.
