Mission description

In rural areas, when mobility is needed, solidarity comes first! Since 2020 on the Gâtine-Racan territory, the Solidarity Mobility program run by the Rural Families Federation connects residents needing occasional transport with a network of volunteers. Residents without licenses, vehicles, or with temporary or permanent mobility limitations struggle reaching medical appointments, shopping, or visiting loved ones. The Solidarity Mobility program serves these isolated people, young or elderly, and connects them with a network of volunteer drivers.
