The volunteer must be a qualified swimming instructor. If you are a qualified instructor and wish to teach autistic youth to improve their autonomy, AVA needs you. We seek a qualified swimming instructor to teach two 13 and 14-year-old students at our autism facility (IME AVA) in Joué-lès-Tours who have had lessons but aren't yet independent. Ideally 30 minutes weekly per student (1 hour volunteering) at a local pool. Students will be accompanied by their educator each session.
