Being a scout leader means accompanying young people through play and nature, teaching them to be independent, live with others and pay attention to the world around us. We are seeking young adults to lead our youth units, including ages 8-11 where we currently have 27 children and 4 leaders (some experienced) and seek at least two additional leaders. We are a young group aiming to introduce scouting in mountain settings to youth. No scouting or mountain experience or specific certifications are required—just enthusiasm and good humor. We train volunteers in scouting and first aid, and our team will be there to support you.
