I conduct animal-assisted therapy sessions in facilities or individually with vulnerable populations

Mission description

Lianes Association offers animal-assisted therapy sessions in facilities for vulnerable people and those losing independence (nursing homes, disability centers, etc.). We work with all populations (children, adults with disabilities, seniors) living in or supported by facilities with no contact with pets. One-hour sessions include two parts: time with the association's guinea pigs where participants can care for them and offer affection (30 minutes), and time with a volunteer's animal (dog or cat) with activities tailored to needs.
