Year-round, I participate in caring for and training the Ranch animals and attend animal-assisted therapy and equine therapy sessions when needed. During school holidays, I help organize activities with ponies during Mini-Farmer Caregiver camps and workshops with other ranch animals. When there are no camps, I help feed animals and maintain their living spaces. You'll be integrated into our small family team on a small-scale operation: 4 horses/ponies, 3 goats, 2 mini pigs, chickens/roosters/ducks/geese, guinea pigs, and 3 rabbits. Responsibilities include feeding animals, maintaining pastures and shelters, and providing care.
