I visit residents in a care home at the Saint-Nicolas Medical and Social Center with VMEH 49

Mission description

Volunteer visitors in care homes for isolated elderly people. Frequency of once weekly or biweekly, approximately two hours in the afternoon. You provide caring and reassuring presence for elderly residents, allowing them time to express themselves on matters close to their hearts. A VMEH 49 representative will support you during your first visits. This voluntary activity is done within a team and includes times for sharing experiences. We seek people with good listening skills, tact, discretion, and team spirit. Beyond visits, you can also help activity coordinators in the care home.
