I support people stranded at the French-British border through Catholic Relief's day center

Mission description

Catholic Relief seeks volunteers to accompany exiled people through administrative and legal procedures: asylum application information/support including Dublin procedures, access to social rights and residency, and guidance to appropriate services. In Calais, exiled people face numerous obstacles: lack of information, procedural complexity, institutional failures, and unjustified refusals. We support them through compassionate, attentive, and tailored accompaniment. Join us to build a more just and fraternal world. Presence desired 3 times per week (Monday-Wednesday-Friday) at the information point (day center).
