Mission description

La Maison des Arts du Fil seeks someone skilled in darning sweaters and knitted garments—a practice no longer widely taught. The volunteer's mission is to pass on this technique so it can be revived. Open to amateur practitioners, the role involves not just patching holes but replacing all broken threads to reconstruct missing rows, rebuilding stitches column by column, and reconnecting the repair to intact portions. This position is open to people with disabilities.
