Mission description

The solidarity grocery welcomes people referred by social workers with a specific savings goal. Working within a team of volunteers and staff in Callas, you'll contribute to welcoming members. Tasks include: opening and closing the premises, setting up reception (arranging tables and chairs, preparing coffee and tea), listening without intrusiveness, exchanging news, directing members to staff for questions about their support, alerting staff to member needs and issues, and sharing activity flyers with members.
