I participate in and lead social activities (at Rest Stops)

Mission description

Co-facilitate Rest Stops with other volunteers (3 hours in the afternoon). This activity consists of four parts: welcome / workshop / snack / departure. During these welcome moments, conviviality is key! We forget about illness, sing, have fun, and laugh. The atmosphere is friendly and enjoyable. As a volunteer, you welcome people living with illness (Alzheimer's) and guide them through various proposed activities. A professional facilitator is present to lead part of the workshop (music therapist, art therapist, etc.). You then oversee a snack time before families pick up their loved ones.
