I develop HopHopFood's anti-waste solidarity action and network in my area

Mission description

HopHopFood is a citizen initiative providing local actors—individuals and businesses—with tools to combat waste and food insecurity among vulnerable populations (students, migrants, single mothers, etc.). Since 2021, it operates as a nonprofit with volunteers, civic service members, and staff. We've launched a service allowing precarious individuals to collect unsold food from shops at a sliding scale through our digital platform (a solidarity version of food-sharing apps, free for low-income people). Goal: recruit and convince new food businesses to participate in reducing waste.
