I develop HopHopFood's anti-food waste solidarity action and its network on my territory
HopHopFoodMission description
HopHopFood is a citizen initiative providing local stakeholders, individuals, and businesses with tools—digital or otherwise—to fight waste and precarity, particularly food insecurity, for often disadvantaged populations (students, migrants, single women, etc.). The association works with civil service volunteers, 250 volunteers, and employees hired since March 2020. HopHopFood has created and manages a service for recovering unsold food from retail stores at a free or pay-what-you-wish price for people in precarity through its digital platform (a solidarity version of TooGoodToGo, reserved for vulnerable people and free). The goal is to recruit and convince new food retailers to participate.
