If you're over 50 and wish to share your professional experience while contributing to a meaningful civic project, become a mentor. DUO for a JOB connects young people from immigrant backgrounds with people over 50 to support them in their job search. The pair meets 2 hours per week for 6 months to complete necessary employment insertion steps, from defining the project to searching for job offers and writing CVs. Mentors receive comprehensive support: initial training (in-person or online), follow-up, advice, and peer videoconferences.
