Mission description

Amaelles-Réseau APA combats senior isolation through its volunteer home visitor service. Once a week, a volunteer visits the same elderly person who feels isolated. Through these meetings, a bond forms and the volunteer brings companionship and brightens their day. Usually afternoons on weekdays or weekends, visits are opportunities to listen, chat, look through photo albums, take walks, read, play cards, scrabble, do puzzles—simple ways to pass time pleasantly and share life's small joys.
