I host an asylum seeker for one or two nights during their OFPRA or CNDA appointment
JRS FRANCE - Service Jésuite des RéfugiésMission description
During their administrative process, all asylum seekers in France have an interview at OFPRA (in Fontenay-sous-Bois) or the National Asylum Court (in Montreuil). This interview determines whether they receive refugee status and French international protection—a decisive life moment. Many asylum seekers sleep rough during their Paris-region visit. By becoming a host, you can provide one or two nights of shelter, allowing them to attend their interview in decent conditions before returning to their region.
