I support children with Down syndrome and intellectual developmental disorders during afternoons
Trisomie 21 Meurthe-et-MoselleMission description
Breathing Together is a program run by the Down Syndrome Meurthe-et-Moselle Association (T21-54). It offers five Saturday afternoons for parents and their children affected by Down syndrome and intellectual developmental disorders (IDD). These sessions aim to provide families with respite time, as well as spaces for information sharing, discussion, and discovery of activities that promote well-being and relaxation. While parents participate in group discussions or activities led by a facilitator, children engage in age-appropriate and needs-based activities. For this program, the T21-54 association is seeking four volunteers to support the children.
