We recruit volunteers to participate in local street outreach. The goal is to build and maintain social connections with homeless individuals encountered, meet their daily needs (food, drinks, clothing, hygiene products), and identify potential critical situations. The St-Vincent-de-Paul association in Calais urgently seeks volunteers for outreach to homeless people. Since 2019, we provide hot meals, warm drinks, blankets, clothing, and regular friendly presence in groups of 3 volunteers. Depending on your availability, join us for Tuesday evening outreach (6–8 PM for logistics and/or 8 PM onwards).
