Legal assistance surgeries for asylum seekers facing religious, political or LGBTQI+ persecution. Two surgeries are available: LGBTQIA+ Asylum for sexual orientation/gender identity persecution, and Asylum for religious, political or related persecution. Volunteers from the Asylum and LGBTQI+ Asylum teams provide support throughout the asylum application process: procedure initiation, asylum statement, OFPRA interview preparation and CNDA hearing. You don't need prior knowledge of these procedures as we work in pairs initially.
