I become a DDEN in a school in the SALON DE PROVENCE district, working within and with the support of the NATIONAL FEDERATION OF DDEN approved by the Ministry of National Education.
DDEN-13 Union départementale Fédérée des Délégués Départementaux de l'Education Nationale des Bouches-du-RhôneMission description
Mission overview: Objective: A DDEN in every school in the SALON DE PROVENCE district. A brief history: The history of DDENs (National Education Department Delegates) is linked to that of public schools. The predecessor of our role can be traced to the 1793 Convention. Many laws have established and evolved our official function, such as the GUIZOT laws (1833), FALLOUX (1850), and GOBLET (1886). These laws and decrees, which also chronicle the history of schools, were consolidated into the Education Code in 2000. Our legitimacy is rooted in promoting public education and respecting the constitutional principle of secularism. Today, any French citizen over 25 years old can become a DDEN.
