I help organize departures and arrivals of young people in international exchanges

Mission description

American Field Service (AFS) is a non-profit present in about 60 countries promoting intercultural and linguistic exchanges. Volunteers help organize stays for foreign young people participating in mobility programs in France and prepare French youth for experiences abroad. Stays last 3 to 11 months and are integrated into school curricula. Young people are hosted by volunteer host families. Founded in 1914, the AFS network operates in 60 countries developing exchanges and intercultural learning through youth mobility programs.
